Backflow Prevention Testing

JMR Water Services uses only certified and approved testing equipment. Each test kit is serviced and calibrated to give accurate results.

RPZ style backflow devices are typically found in high-hazard locations. Most applications require these devices to be tested twice per year. They consist of two check valves and one relief valve.

PVB style backflow devices are typically found in irrigation systems. They are compliant  with Massachusetts regulations in this application. One test per year is required for these devices.

DCVA style backflow devices are typically found on low-hazard applications such as fire lines. They look similar to the RPZ but have no relief. One test per year is required for these devices.

JMR Water Services is able to tackle any backflow device regardless of the size or location. We pride ourselves with minimal interruption and high success rates.

Safety is top priority when dealing with backflow testing. Devices need to work properly in order to protect public health. Proper safety equipment is utilized during all tests.
